Design & Build

Nothing has already achieved legendary status with its flagship smartphones. It is Nothing’s most proud design story of far, with a softly curved pillowed glass back on Phone 2, a slim and slender midframe, higher-resolution texturing, and polished components. Premium isn’t simply about components. It’s the appearance, duration, and emotional impact of something. a complete encounter. Phone 2 is made to accomplish that, both in terms of hardware and software. An HD+ screen with a punch-hole located in the upper middle dominates the front of the phone.

The glass back of the Nothing Phone 1 features flashing light strips that attracted a lot of attention to it. Aluminum is used to make the body frame. Given its robust structure, it is hardly shocking that the phone weighs 201g and has dimensions of 162.1 x 76.4 x 8.6 mm. For its Phone 2 model, Nothing chose the colors White and Color Gray to accentuate its status as a high-end phone.

The dual SIM phone is dust, water, and splash proof, with an IP54 classification. The smartphone’s flashing LED strips are noticeable. The rear of the device has several LED lights (notifications, charging status, and camera fill light). It is a video recording sign if the red light strip on the back is blinking. By focusing on productive work, these light strips help you spend less time in front of the screen.

Immersive Display

Nothing at all The phone 2 has a big 6.7-inch punch-hole LTPO OLED display with 1B colors, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 1600 nits (HBM), and 1600 nits (peak). a large screen with a 20:9 ratio, 1080 x 2412 pixels, 1600 nits of brightness, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz (~ 394 ppi density). Peak brightness is 1,600 nits, which is significantly brighter than Phone 1’s 1,200 nits. Phone 2 can intelligently adjust its 120 Hz refresh rate to save power while you’re not using it thanks to LTPO. An incredible display that preserves battery life.

High-Performance Camera Package

Phone 2 captures real life as it happens with ease. It is 4,000 times more camera data capability than Phone (1) thanks to its 18-bit Image Signal Processor (ISP). enabling us to provide cutting-edge new algorithms that produce dynamically correct images and movies.

Main Camera

The 50 MP primary + 50 MP ultra-wide camera with sophisticated tuning effects on Phone 2 is the best available, but nothing has improved it. using a brand-new Motion Capture 2.0 algorithm that makes use of artificial intelligence (AI) to precisely identify moving objects in real time. and a 2X Super-Res Zoom that maintains the finest details in every scenario.

Video recording: Rock-solid and crystal-clear. Make motion pictures with the primary back camera in 4K@60 frames per second. Activate Action Mode for scenarios with a lot of action. Combines with the built-in dual stabilization to provide incredibly smooth outcomes when moving.

Selfie Camera

Nothing has a larger 32 MP front camera sensor than the Phone 1, allowing for flawless portrait shots. It highlights your best features and brings to life every shade, color, and expression.

Utilize Advanced HDR to capture the ideal photo. Now that it has three times as much data, Advanced HDR records eight RAW frames at varying exposure settings. combines the most accurate details from each frame to create a final image that is as realistic as possible. Using Night Mode, it can produce images that are as clear as daytime at any time of day.

Emphasis on Memory Space

Comparing the Phone 2 model to its predecessor, the Phone 1, not much was improved. The Phone 2 is available in a few distinct versions. In terms of memory, the new model packs:

  • 128GB 8GB RAM
  • 256GB 12GB RAM
  • 512GB 12GB RAM.

Phone 1 has 256GB of internal capacity and 12GB of RAM. Phone 2’s internal memory capacity was subsequently increased. Depending on the phone choice and affordability, extra space on available Phone 2 models and UFS 3.1 technology ensure users are endless as they maximize the large RAM and ROM, given that Nothing phones do not permit space increase.

Upgraded Chipset

It was obvious who the brains behind the Phone 2 were. Phone 2 touts an 80% boost in performance over Phone 1, which used a 7-series Snapdragon chip, thanks to its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Featuring the greatest internal heat management, quick speed, and sophisticated camera features now. And a ton more.

The phone’s chipset works in tandem with a swift and effective Octa-core (1×3.0 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.5 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510) CPU and a respectable Adreno 730 Graphical Processing Unit to enable optimal operations such as multitasking, Internet browsing, and gaming.

Nothing OS 2.0

Nothing has infused its software with a new visual identity that is distinctly Nothing, drawing influence from the distinctive hardware design of the phone. Nothing OS 2.0 encourages more deliberate and thoughtful interactions with your smartphone by emphasizing practical customisation.

Customization and Widgets

Nothing has reinvented the lock screen and home screen features to allow you to quickly access programs without being sidetracked. Customize widget sizes and color schemes, as well as app labels and grid designs. Featuring updated cover illustrations and folder layouts.

You may get information straight from your home screen by using apps like Nothing X and Weather. Swipeable views are now available for greater detail levels. To offer even more ease, create widgets for your Quick Settings features. You can also add important widgets to your lock screen to eliminate the need to unlock your phone.

Glyph Interface

Nothing offers you the Glyph Interface in response to a global desire for more alone time and less screen time. Stay one step ahead of those who are reaching out by allocating distinct light and sound sequences for every kind of interaction and notification. Important details in a jiffy.

Everyday Functionality, Screen Free

Glyph Notifications

With the new Essential Glyph Notifications, you can concentrate while staying reachable to the people who really matter. A light will always be on when you receive a notice from a particular contact or app until you open it. The rest can wait.

Glyph Composer

You own the stage. To activate a distinct combination of light and sound, tap each pad. Once you’ve established a rhythm, hit record to start making your own Glyph Ringtones.

Network Connectivity and Communication

Nothing Phone 2 is 5G network enabled. Make USE OF GSM / HSPA / LTE / 5G network technology used on the smartphone to maximize your connectivity and communications. You are assured of fast internet connectivity thanks to the latest WLAN installed on the phone (Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct). With HSPA, LTE-A, and 5G network speed, you will have a great time uploading or downloading large files in record time. Considering the Phone (2) does not support a 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth pairing comes in handy. The upgraded 5.3, A2DP, LE version on the new Nothing Model enables efficient and fast pairing to your devices or handsets for communication, entertainment, or transfer of data.

GPS (GPS (L1+L5), GLONASS (L1), BDS (B1I+B1c), GALILEO (E1), QZSS (L1), NavIC) enables accurate location and tracking especially if you are in an unfamiliar area and need to be found or find a specific earmarked area. USB Type C 2.0, OTG enables charging the smartphone and transfer of data to/ from USB sticks and devices that support the same. An under, display and optical fingerprint scanner limit unauthorized access to your data and personal information stored on the smartphone.  Other sensors installed on the Nothing Phone 2 include:

  • Accelerometer
  • Proximity
  • Gyro
  • compass

Battery and Charging

At 4,700 mAh, Phone 2 houses our longest-lasting battery yet. Phone 1 battery capacity was at 4,500W. Charge fully the battery in just 55 minutes. Compatible with 15W Qi wireless charging. Phone 2 also doubles as a 5W wireless charger so you can power accessories like Ear 2 on the go

Sustainability Focus

With a focus on recycled materials, renewable energy, packaging, and longevity, Phone (2) is designed to be one of the most sustainable smartphones on the market.

Less Carbon Print

Phone 2 has a carbon footprint of 53.45 kg, which is an 8.6% reduction compared to Phone 1. A significant achievement given the overall boost in performance, including a 200 mAh increase in battery and a screen that is 0.15″ bigger than the Phone 1.
